This spectacular helicopter pleasure flight is available from St Ives as a Visit Cornwall Summer Special from Tuesday 25th July to Saturday 5th August 2017.
The memorable tour will track along the rugged Cornish coastline between St Ives, a seaside town on the coast of the Celtic Sea and the Lands End headland, which is the most westerly point of mainland Cornwall and England.
Famous points of interest include Pendeen Lighthouse built in 1900 situated within the Aire Point to Carrick Du SSSI, the Cornwall Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the Penwith Heritage Coast. In this area is the renowned and astonishing open air Minack Theatre, creation of Rowena Cade, with the first production taking place in 1932. Dotted around are several Tin Mine remains – during the Middle Ages and early 19th Century Cornwall was a major producer, and finally you will be able to enjoy the beautiful Cornish countryside, inland from the coastal walks.
During the tour you will receive commentary from your pilot, who will ensure you don't miss any of the interesting landmarks en-route!
